These Terms of Service explain the basic rules for using SnapScanCard. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Service overview
SnapScanCard is an Android app for scanning business cards, reviewing OCR results, organizing contact information, recording notes, and optionally creating manual backups.
2. Your data and responsibility
You are responsible for the business card information, images, notes, and other content that you enter, scan, import, export, or back up through the app.
Please make sure you have the right to store or share contact information and images that you add to the app.
3. Local storage and backup
SnapScanCard stores data locally on your device by default. The app may allow you to export local files or manually back up and restore data with Google Drive after you choose to sign in.
You are responsible for keeping your device, exported files, and Google account secure.
4. Google Drive use
Google Drive integration is optional. When enabled by the user, SnapScanCard uses Google Drive access to upload, list, and download SnapScanCard backup ZIP files for manual backup and restore.
The app does not use Google Drive access for advertising, automatic contact sync, or unrelated file access.
5. OCR and information accuracy
OCR results may be incomplete or incorrect. You should review recognized text and contact fields before saving, sharing, exporting, or relying on them.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the app to store or share information in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
- Do not attempt to misuse Google Drive integration or interfere with the app's normal operation.
- Do not use the app for spam, harassment, fraud, or unauthorized collection of personal data.
7. No warranty
SnapScanCard is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of the app.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
