Health Log Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Health Log / 健康紀錄, an Android app published by Jensen. Health Log is a low-pressure personal health diary app. It is not a medical system and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, health risk assessment, or professional medical recommendations.
2. Data You May Enter
Health Log / 健康紀錄 may allow users to enter personal health-related records, including:
- Weight
- Body fat percentage
- Blood pressure
- Blood glucose
- Heart rate
- Record date and time
- Health goals
- Notes entered by the user
3. Local Storage
By default, Health Log / 健康紀錄 stores records locally on the user's device. Jensen does not operate a separate server to collect, store, analyze, or share Health Log records.
4. Optional Google Drive Backup
Health Log / 健康紀錄 may offer optional Google Drive backup and restore. This feature is used only when the user chooses to connect a Google account and manually back up or restore data.
When Google Drive backup is enabled, backup data is stored in the user's own Google Drive storage associated with the selected Google account. The backup may include records, notes, and goal settings entered in the app.
Google Drive data is handled according to Google's own privacy policies and terms. Jensen does not receive or store a copy of the user's Google Drive backup on a developer-owned server.
5. Google Account Access
Health Log / 健康紀錄 uses Google Sign-In and Google Drive access only for user-authorized backup and restore functionality. The app does not use the Google account for advertising, profiling, analytics, or selling user data.
6. Notifications
Health Log / 健康紀錄 may provide optional reminder notifications. Reminder notifications are generated on the device and are not used for tracking or advertising.
7. Data Sharing
Jensen does not sell Health Log / 健康紀錄 data. Jensen does not share Health Log data with advertisers, analytics providers, or developer-owned external servers.
If a user chooses Google Drive backup, data is transferred to the user's own Google Drive account as part of the backup feature initiated by the user.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Users can delete records inside the app. Users can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage from Android system settings. If Google Drive backup is used, users may delete backup files from their Google account or Google Drive, subject to Google's available account and Drive management tools.
9. Data Security
We aim to keep data handling minimal. Health Log / 健康紀錄 stores records locally by default. Optional Google Drive backup uses the user's own Google account and Google's storage infrastructure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Health Log / 健康紀錄 is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page.
