Ad Jump Guard Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to Ad Jump Guard, a Chrome browser extension published by Jensen. Ad Jump Guard is designed to help users reduce unwanted ad jump pages, suspicious redirects, or interruption pages while browsing.

2. Data Processing in the Browser

Ad Jump Guard may process browser navigation information locally in the user's browser, such as the current tab URL, redirect events, matched rules, and extension settings. This processing is used only to provide the extension's protection and user controls.

Ad Jump Guard does not collect browsing history for developer-side storage. It does not upload visited URLs, page contents, cookies, form entries, passwords, or browsing activity to a developer-owned server.

3. Local Storage

Ad Jump Guard may store extension settings, protection rules, allowlist or blocklist choices, and limited local status information in the browser's extension storage. This data remains on the user's device or in Chrome's extension storage environment, depending on browser behavior and user settings.

4. Permissions

The extension may request browser permissions needed to inspect navigation events, apply redirect or blocking rules, show extension status, and save user settings. Permissions are used only for Ad Jump Guard's advertised functionality.

5. Data Sharing

Jensen does not sell Ad Jump Guard data. Jensen does not share Ad Jump Guard data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or developer-owned external servers.

6. Analytics and Advertising

Ad Jump Guard does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. The extension does not use browsing activity for advertising, profiling, or selling user data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because Ad Jump Guard does not collect personal data on a developer-owned server, there is no developer-side retention of user browsing data. Users can remove local extension data by clearing extension storage, resetting extension settings, disabling the extension, or uninstalling it from Chrome.

8. Children's Privacy

Ad Jump Guard is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page.
